What is your Purpose as a Christian? January 1, 2010

Ecc 3:1  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

As I pondered  the theme verse for Community this year, I wonder as I have witnessed Christians worshiping “What is their purpose for being at church?’ The theme for our church this year is “Purpose 2010 – COMMUNITY.”  Over the next few weeks I will challenge you as well to think about your Christian walk on your path to Heaven. We as Christians are more concerned about our well being then the well being of the unsaved we know and come in contact with everyday. When we worship at church why is it that want to get out as soon as we get there? If that is the case why did we come? When I think of the word Purpose, I think of it’s meaning of aim, intention, or goal.  I will be challenging  the church over the next few weeks on setting goals and aim for something this year with God’s help.   If you would like to hear what God’s Word says about your purpose, please come on Sunday mornings at 10 and find your purpose for being on the path of life.  So as I close for tonight pray about what your purpose will be for God.
